Ready for college?

Summer’s already over & school is back again. For those who are incoming 1st Year College, I bet you feel nervous about it. You know that college life is the entrance to a new you. You’ll be on your own. I hope you have chosen the college of your choice.

As far as I know, the majority of students enrolling to college is UST. Because of some reasons: the USTET is easy, some of your relatives finished there &/or it has good standards. A few of my classmates, who are smart & worked very hard to pass the test, are enrolled to UP & Ateneo. Some varsity players, although they failed the test, are also enrolled to those 2 schools through Scholarship Programs, which is a good opportunity for them.

However, your schedules are very different from each other since you have different courses. It’s OK to inform them about it. Time varies, your classes are only in the morning or afternoon, you may have 1 class on 1 or 2 days, you may have 5 or 6 days of class days. Your college may be far from your home, so you may have to leave 1 or 2 hours early to get there early or on time or you stay in a dorm near that.

Well, I hope I said enough about it. Good luck with college!
